One day introduction to still life with Jus where you will learn how take an idea of your subject and with guidance appreciate its form and shapes through drawing with pen and charcoal, gradually gaining confidence to a point where you will paint your own still life using water soluble oils in the "alla prima " or "at first attempt" fashion.
Justin will guide you all along the process , focusing on many different aspects during the day, including use of colour and light.
Justin is an experienced and patient teacher known for his infectious enthusiasm for art and creativity as well as his kindness and humour.
If you have been wanting to try drawing and painting still-life this may be just what you need to get you started.
Morning and afternoon tea and lunch are provided and always an important part of our workshops !
