Pesci Che Volano - Fluto Bracelet
Details
For the past 20 years, Elena Dosio and her team of designers and craftsmen have been creating one-of-a-kind bronze and silver jewellery pieces with a timeless taste for essential forms.
Embarrassed to say I only stumbled on the atelier by mistake when on a buying trip in Italy....happy mistake, we are now so thrilled to offer these beautiful and unique pieces made using the "lost-wax" casting technique
The raw, unpolished metals used to make the jewellery give them a rustic, antique feel while their intricate details bear some resemblance to Etruscan works.
The name Pesci Che Volano (‘flying fish’), was inspired by a triptych altarpiece painted by Dutch draughtsman Hieronymus Bosch, where human figures ride flying fish. This image is a metaphor for the triumph of fantasy over reality and a constant reminder of the need to set our imagination free.
The Fluto bracelet has an internal width of approximately 6.5 cm (about 2.55 inches).
It’s an open-style bangle with a little bit of flexibility when putting it on, but please note it's not adjustable and may break if forced open too much.
As each piece is handmade in bronze, there can be slight variations.
